The article submission process can be completed once one of the authors has an account on the Revista Información Científica website and logs in. This is required to submit articles online and to check the status of their submissions.

It is recommended that you review the journal's Section Policies, as well as the Instructions for Authors, before submitting online.

To create an account, click Register and complete the following metadata form: first and last name, institutional affiliation, and country. Registration must be validated from your email account for successful login.

If, on the other hand, you already have an account as a result of registration, simply click Login with the username and password you previously selected. You can submit your proposal from Submissions by clicking New Submission, and edit your profile from the Control Panel.

The submission process consists of four steps:

  1. Start. The elements on the Submission Checklist must be fully completed to be checked off and continue with the process, as well as accept the Copyright statement. In the Comments to the Editor, please inform whether the article is a preprint, whether your proposal has been previously reviewed by this journal, and whether it was presented at an event, the result of a thesis, or disseminated in any other medium. Submissions that do not comply with these steps will be returned to the authors.
  2. Upload the submission. In addition to the proposal file, you must attach the graphs and figures separately, as well as any materials used during the research that may constitute valuable resources for further research (results of surveys, observations, interviews, simulations, automatically collected data, models, among others).
  3. Enter the metadata. Remember to add the metadata for all authors of the research in the same sequential order, according to the manuscript. Duplicate emails will not be accepted.
  4. Confirmation. Your proposal will be finally sent to the Editorial Board, and you will receive an email notification. It will appear on the author profile as Unassigned.

The author is kept informed via email about the progress of the process and conveniently receives notifications with the review result and the final decision of the Director.
