Abstract

A prospective, operational study with teachers at the University of Medical Sciences of Guantánamo during the period 2011-2013 is carried out, with the aim of developing a methodology that allows, through self-management of knowledge, the highest preparation in Philosophy and social studies of the Sciences and information and communication technologies (ICT) in the health sector. We present the results of the research carried out by the group of research professors fulfilling the task "Improvement academic teaching of health professionals" within the "Research Project Methodology for the development of intellectual capital of the University of Medical Sciences of Guantanamo" . Its use is widespread in all the Headquarters of the University. It is proven that, by producing products with information and knowledge technologies, applied to higher level Philosophy, it is possible to raise quality, efficiency and perfection in teacher-academic and politico-ethical training in teachers of higher education.
