Abstract

An intervention study was carried out with the objective of implementing a training to raise the level of information about sexually transmitted infections in adolescents of the "Eleno Borges Gallego" Preuniversity during January - June 2012, Guantánamo. The universe of study is made up of 925 students. The variables are used: knowledge about the different types of sexually transmitted infections, transmission routes, signs and symptoms that may indicate the presence of infections, prevention, risk behavior in infections, knowledge of complications and global knowledge of infections. Sexually transmitted infections. There was a lack of information on sexually transmitted infections in adolescents, modified inappropriate criteria and raised the level of knowledge on the subject.
