Abstract

With the objective of elevating the level of knowledge of young adults in the south area of the city of Guantánamo on sexual and reproductive health in the period January December of 2014 was carried out a study of educational intervention where age, sex, scholarly, occupation, civil related state with level of knowledge were analyzed as well as the same survey was applied before and after, in order to evaluate the effectiveness. The insufficient knowledge about sexual and reproductive health decreased with the educational intervention; results should be generalized in order to reduce breaches of knowledge on those aspects. sexual and reproductive health is the integration in the human being of the somatic, emotional, intellectual and social in order to increase human personality that facilitates the communication of giving and receiving love in the aspects of sexuality and reproduction in all the stages of the life.
