Abstract

A prospective, descriptive study was conducted in the Chocolate Factory and Industry of fishing, belonging to the polyclinic Fermin Valdes Dominguez, with the aim of identifying the rates of abuse to the women by men in two business centers, Turey area. Baracoa, Guantanamo. Period 2013 - 2014, the universe was constituted by 63 identified workers, the sample 57 who were abused, it was considered the variables: age, educational level, types of abuse, abusers, instead of abuse, aid application battered women, logical induction -deduction, analysis - synthesis, mathematical - statistical, percentage - analysis, which allowed the fulfillment of the historical analysis of documents, surveys to collect data and theoretical level: methods of empirical level were used as objectives, operations were performed by computer, emptied the results in graphs and tables for analysis and discussion; high rates of abuse experiences, predominating the ages of 40-49 years, completed pre-university school level and verbal abuse, the home was the most hostile place, parents, spouses and others .The exercises more frequently request the women, help was low. Conclusions and recommendations were issued.
