Abstract

An educational intervention is performed with the goal of raising the level of knowledge about hepatitis B in adolescents in Cadela clinical office, Táchira, Venezuela, from September 2012 to February 2013 .The universe consists of 90 adolescents between 13 and 19 years that were systematically randomly chosen after prior informed. The research has three phases: diagnostic, educational intervention and evaluation. A questionnaire was given before the intervention used to identify learning needs and to develop the educational program, and then evaluate the acquired knowledge. After the application scored 100% on the general elements of the entity in question. The effectiveness of the process was evaluated either at the end of the study so that it is considered of great impact.
