Estratégias de qualidade em serviços de saúde: um estudo bibliométrico

Introdução: a qualidade nos serviços de saúde é fundamental para garantir segurança, equidade e eficiência. Ela enfrenta desafios globais e disparidades contextuais. A análise bibliométrica permite a sistematização do conhecimento existente e a identificação de tendências e lacunas de pesquisa.
Objetivo: realizar uma análise bibliométrica abrangente das estratégias de qualidade em serviços de saúde, identificando tendências, redes de colaboração e lacunas, com foco especial na América Latina.
Método: foi realizado um estudo quantitativo-descritivo com delineamento longitudinal não experimental baseado em bibliometria, analisando 1.164 documentos indexados no Scopus (1995-2025) utilizando o VOSviewer (para redes de co-citação) e o Bibliometrix (para dinâmica e impacto das publicações). Os critérios de inclusão foram: documentos revisados por pares em inglês e espanhol, texto completo disponível, foco direto em estratégias de qualidade de serviços de saúde (clínicas, administrativas ou tecnológicas) e população humana.
Resultados: observou-se um crescimento anual de 13,93%, com predominância de autores e instituições dos Estados Unidos (324 documentos). Os temas centrais incluíram equidade de gênero, segurança do paciente e tecnologias emergentes. Lacunas geográficas foram evidentes (representação limitada da América Latina e da África), bem como uma concentração de produtividade em um pequeno grupo de autores.
Conclusões: o campo é dinâmico, mas fragmentado. Pesquisas mais inclusivas e colaborativas são necessárias para desenvolver políticas equitativas e sustentáveis que atendam às necessidades globais e locais de qualidade da assistência à saúde.
