Didactic-methodological training of teachers in Human Morphophysiology II in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

Abstract

A study is done with the purpose of raising the level of knowledge of teachers related to the subject II in Human Morphophysiology in students of the National Training Program for Comprehensive Community inFalcon State,Venezueladuring 2013 - 2014. The study group is represented by 72 teachers distributed in 18 areas of Integral Health. The samples of 30 participants were selected using stratified random sampling. Variables were studied such as: knowledge of teachers, application of the methodology and results of tasks designed to promote the subject after the training as well as the views and the status of teachers. Data were obtained through a survey conducted before and after training. The data were tabulated in numbers and percentages and shown in frequency distribution tables and using Microsoft Word as a word processor. A workshop that raised the level of knowledge of the participants was conducted to improve the promotion of curricular unit and a good opinion of teachers.
