Abstract

A literature review integrates on esophageal cancer in the general teaching hospital Guantanamo published articles including the last 15 years with the aim of gathering information on this entity as well as essential aspects such as diagnosis, classification, adjuvant treatment and neo among other factors most involved risk alcohol, snuff, sequelae of caustic injury and Barrett's esophagus stand; esophageal cancer remains among the most aggressive tumors of the digestive tract, and its poor prognosis is due to its late diagnosis.
