Abstract

A qualitative, retrospective study was carried out with the objective of elaborating a book on preservation of documents as support for teaching in the subjects Documentary Heritage and Territorial Heritage for the students of the SIS specialty of the Filial of Medical Sciences. The universe is made up of 92 students from 2nd to 4th year of the course and 3 professors of the specialty, with a sample of 27 randomly selected students and 3 professors. According to the results obtained, the students were insufficiently prepared, as well as the availability of bibliographies for the development of the subjects, which led to the need to create the brochure.
