Abstract

Study is performed to show the incidence of eosinophilia associated with parasitism, in order to evaluate the behavior of some laboratory parameters in patients randomly attended at the lab of the Center for High Technology Francisco Miranda Falcon State, Venezuela, from February 2009 to February 2010, consisting of 1539 patients aged between 25 and 40 years, of both sexes. Variables were taken as:  complementary studies in hematology and eosinophil count and peripheral blade, feces and liver function constituted by the AST, ALT, total and direct bilirubin. Polyparasitized severe eosinophilia was presented in patients between 31-35 years.
