Abstract

Introduction: As a medium used and available in all laboratories of Morphophysiology, you have to make the most of all the potential and educational value that we can provide well-used educational software. To determine the importance of software as a teaching mean for teachers and students and the benefits of its use. Methods: an exploratory research is done on the subject with teachers of Morphophysiology I and students of the School of Medical Sciences Guantanamo. As scanning technique was used the survey. Results: 63.6 % of surveyed teachers that recognized the importance of this mode of teaching mean with a duty cycle of 54.5 %. The 63.3 % of students agreed on its importance and 80 % said that facilitated the preparation of abstracts. Conclusions: that teachers and students that were surveyed, recognize the importance of educational software for teaching-learning process and its use in daily teaching practice.
