Abstract

Sexuality in adolescence is a problem facing humanity today. A descriptive study is done at Children's Hospital "Pedro Agustín Perez" Guantanamo in 2012, with the goal of further sexual behavior in adolescents. The universe was 74 adolescents, interviews and surveys were applied, they process information through a database EXCEL using SPSS version 110 and was presented in tables, means tests were used as variables and proportions too. The main results were the following: between 11 to 15 years was recommended to start talking about sexuality, very few teenagers had known that the role of communication must be presented, the highest percent had known about the condom use, as well as regular partners, more than half never think about getting infected, everyone had known about AIDS. Concluding that exist knowledge gaps, and no risk perception by adolescents.
