The preparation of teachers. Challenges of different universities in the town of Baracoa, Guantanamo

Abstract

The problem of the correlation between educational research and pedagogical preparation has been studied by several authors. It is essential to conducting research to contribute to the development of pedagogy and the effective realization of the educational process in the current transformations of Higher Education. It is presented a diagnosis about educational research for teachers of Primary Health Care and characterization of Baracoa. It was applied in 3 teaching areas of Health, surveyed 56 of the 68 teachers of basic work groups in order to determine the level of educational preparation of teachers. Even when you manage an increase in participation of teachers in Basic Education courses, Higher Education and Research Methodology. There are deficiencies in the preparation of teachers causing insufficient number of educational research and publication.
