The subject History of Cuba from the perspective of the teaching project in careers of Medical Sciences

This research deals with the formation and consolidation of values in students from applying project teaching as important for more efficient training of professional track and aims to develop a pedagogical approach by teaching for projects that contribute to development of scientific thought of the graduates. Methods are used: historical and logical analysis and synthesis, documentary study, modeling and observation, to identify gaps in the treatment of personalities and events. It works with a universe of 780 students and a sample of 360; they are used as techniques, surveys, interviews, class observation and methodological activities. A pedagogical conception of liberal education is provided and the role of research in the teaching-learning process is highlighted, it contributes to the development of feelings, attitudes and behaviors corresponding to the model of medical training that are required.
