Abstract

Educational intervention actions is done for the elderly in the grandparents home in Felicidad de Yateras to determine the level of knowledge that they have about their illness, as soom as they modify the style and mode of life thereof and, simultaneously, reverse this sense problem that affects 100 % of the  health area. The universe of study was 22 patients categorized at the circle of grandparents Happiness and sample were 22 hypertensive adults suffering from hypertension (HT) and belong to it. An initial survey and an agenda are performed. The study population showed a higher frequency of hypertension in women, the age group 60-70 years. Knowledge is provided in adults studied in relation to risk factors most influential in their decompensation, the feasibility of the intervention process for older adults was demonstrated.
