Abstract

A bibliographical review was performed on historical background taking into account concepts of community health models in Cuba, with the aim of identifying the existence of psycho pedagogic conception from medical initial   training to doctors for their exercises in primary health care in Cuba, from its beginnings to the present, through the methodological, historical and bibliographical review. This work is done from the conception of the physician in outpatient care by week of 1825 to the standard of medical and family nurse 1984, in force until today. The information is used as theoretical base for developing reviews and reflections on the evolution of Cuban health specialists in the different subjects of the discipline General Integral Medicine (MGI).
