Morbidity and mortality due to lung neoplasia in the University Polyclinic "Ramón López Peña"

Abstract

The aspects related to the morbidity behavior of lung neoplasia in the "Ramón López Peña" Polyclinic University of Caimanera municipality during the years from 2009 to 2012 are analyzed. The universe of study is 74 patients. A descriptive investigation is carried out, obtaining the information of the clinical records of the patients and of the records in the department of health statistics in this institution. The following variables were studied: age, early and late diagnosis, sex, smoking, mortality and morbidity and incidence of other neoplasms. 100% of the dead were necropsied.
