Barreiras de acesso e utilização dos serviços de bem-estar estudantil em estudantes de Ciências Biomédicas

Introdução: o bem-estar estudantil é importante para a saúde mental e o desenvolvimento integral no ensino superior; no entanto, a existência de serviços institucionais não garante necessariamente sua utilização efetiva pela população universitária.
Objetivo: identificar as principais barreiras que limitam o acesso e a utilização dos serviços de bem-estar estudantil em estudantes do segundo ano de Enfermagem e Cinesiologia e Fisioterapia da Universidad Nacional de Pilar, Paraguai.
Metodo: realizou-se um estudo com abordagem mista, delineamento não experimental, transversal e escopo descritivo-analítico em 2025. A amostra incluiu 92 estudantes no componente quantitativo, selecionados por amostragem probabilística, e 10 estudantes da Unidade de Bem-Estar Estudantil da referida universidade no componente qualitativo. Aplicaram-se questionário estruturado com perguntas fechadas e escalas tipo Likert, bem como entrevistas semiestruturadas.
Resultados: embora 100% dos estudantes reconhecessem a existência da Unidade de Bem-Estar Estudantil, apenas 28,26% afirmaram conhecer claramente o procedimento de acesso aos serviços. Além disso, 63,04% indicaram não ter utilizado nenhum serviço institucional e 58,70% não os utilizaram durante o último ano acadêmico. Os serviços mais utilizados foram bolsas de estudo (26,09%) e atividades esportivas (23,91%). Entre aqueles que utilizaram os serviços, 80,43% manifestaram estar muito satisfeitos. As principais barreiras identificadas foram falta de informação (39,13%), horários pouco acessíveis (19,57%) e custos associados (15,22%).
Conclusões: as principais dificuldades estão relacionadas a barreiras informacionais, organizacionais e estruturais, mais do que à avaliação dos serviços entre aqueles que conseguiram utilizá-los.
