Existem ferramentas de inteligência artificial no setor de saúde ou soluções de saúde baseadas em inteligência artificial, entre elas estão as de aprendizado automático, processamento e compreensão de linguagem natural, reconhecimento de padrões, visão artificial, robótica, audição de computador. Todos eles contribuem potencialmente para a pesquisa biomédica, educação médica e prestação de cuidados de saúde, continuando a desafiar os profissionais deste setor.
