The Cuban Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics, in cooperation with the Havana membership association, held from November 25 to 27, 2021 the National Virtual Conference “Por el bienestar de las personas en edad avanzada“at the Facultad de Ciencias Médicas "Dr. Salvador Allende" branch of the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana.
The scientific activity was developed via virtual platform, in order to contribute in the ongoing of the professional human resources training concerning Gerontology and Geriatrics specialty. It waspresented 9 keynote lectures, 8 discussion forums and 73 presentations on various topics of bio-psycho-socio-functional order and in relationship with people of advanced age, all of which favored academic and scientific exchange.
