Educational intervention on dental traumatism

Abstract

An educational intervention is done in workers of the kinder “retoños Comunistas” of Guantanamo in 2012, with the target to raise the level of knowledge of the kids on dental traumatism. The universe is constituted by 38 workers. It is predominated over the group of ages of 31-40 years and the feminine sex, university level and urban origin. The knowledge level on dental traumatism before the intervention was bad; there was not significant difference between this one and the school level as well as association between these variables. Predominating over those people whom don't know about dental traumatism and the risks factors: how to prevent the trauma and the conduct to be continued before the intervention. As a conclusion, the workers increased their levels of good knowledge about dental traumatism.
