Abstract

The review on the topic of anterior uveitis is performed because of the high frequency of acute anterior uveitis in Guantánamo and in the country. Disease that represents the third cause of visual deficit in the average age of the life, affecting individuals of both sexes and of all the ages and whose etiopatogenia is uncertain. In the present work we propose an approach to the diagnosis of this ophthalmological disease, its main complications and its association with the HLA-B27 antigen.
