Abstract

It is presented two cases that come to Ophthalmology consultation for surgical correction of their ametropia. Anamnesis and complete ocular examination are performed: visual acuity without correction, correction and visual acuity better corrected intraocular pressure, biomicroscopy, corneal topography, keratometry and endothelial microscopy. In the biomicroscopic examination of both cases corneal endothelial lesions were observed with a vesicular aspect, as well as band lesion, of geographic aspect with scalloped edges. The diagnosis of posterior polymorphous dystrophy was reached.
