Abstract

Biosecurity in Stomatology is vital to achieve quality in services. The objective of the present work is to reflect on this issue, which constitutes a problem in the stomatological community not only of our territory but of the country in general. Bibliographical and documentary review, as well as observation, interviews with specialists and surveys are used. The data served as a basis for developing considerations and reflections in relation to the subject studied. Also discussed aspects of daily practice to be taken into account to implement biosafety. It mentions possible strategies to be carried out according to the country's historical moment and the transformations of Cuban public health for its sustainability, and it is evident the inescapable necessity of the teaching-assistance-research fusion to achieve success. A quality work environment for patients and providers, contributes to the excellence and efficiency of the Cuban health system.
