Abstract

In the second half of 2012 our province presented a complex epidemiological picture due to the proliferation of the mosquito Aedes Aegypti and other vectors, so between 12 and 23 October 2012 the Faculty of Medical Sciences was immersed in An important research work implementing the Program: "Together with Che and Camilo, the University doing Revolution"; Its objective was to carry out a health intervention in 100% of the blocks of the city of Guantanamo with the first and second year students of Medicine, Stomatology, Nursing and Technology, in order to influence the modification of the hygienic- With the close involvement of the community. To give effect to the system of actions, a working group was organized by the Department of Educational Work and University Extension after coordination with the management of the FCM, the management of the FEU and the polyclinics to monitor the development of the activity and evaluate The impact on students, teachers and settlers.
