Aspects related to violence against women. Educative intervention

Abstract

An educational intervention study was carried out at the University's "Martyrs of the 4th of August”, Guantanamo , on aspects related to violence against women by their partners, in the period January-June 2013, with the objective of giving To know the dissimilar ways in which violence is presented. The sample is made up of 97 women over 15 years of age, taken at random. The variables of the investigation are: age groups, level of schooling, occupation, and marital status, type of violence and frequency of the same. The data were obtained with the application of a survey. There was predominance of the ages between 21 to 39 years, with preuniversity study, housewives and married. There was a greater incidence in psychological violence and the frequency of violence between 2 and 5 times. Comparisons were made and conclusions were drawn.
