Abstract

A training intervention study on the preconceptional reproductive risk was carried out in the office No. 3 of the University Polyclinic "Dr. Emilio Daudinot Bueno "in the period January-December 2011 with the aim of modifying knowledge and behaviors of women with preconceptional reproductive risk. The population consisted of 271 women at risk, taking a simple random sample of 72. The contribution was the design of the training program, the same was applied and the samples were selected and surveyed. It was found predominance in the group of ages of 15-19 years, the biological factor was the hypertension and the obstetric risk was the low weight at the birth. The women used the following contraceptives: condoms and birth control pills. After the intervention, 100% of the sample reached the expected knowledge.
