Abstract

An educational intervention was carried out in the University Polyclinic "Modesto Grimón Cardoza" during 2009, with the objective of evaluating the level of knowledge on political, ideological and cultural aspects in students of health technology. The universe and sample were constituted by the total of 25 students of Health Information Management. Some of the variables were used: the career paradigm, local martyrs, the anthem of Baracoa among others. It was observed that the level of knowledge was inadequate, with great misinformation. After the educational actions, the majority of the students dominated all the aspects evaluated in the questionnaire so they jointly described the activities of improvement by the library of very positive providing satisfactory criteria. Conclusions and recommendations are issued.
