Monitoring patients with leprosy

Abstract

A study of tactical evaluation is done with the aim of monitoring the contact to patients with leprosy in the policlinic 4 de Abril, Guantanamo during the period 2006 - 2010. The universe is constituted by all the contacts of patients sick with leprosy in the studied period, distributed in 9 clinical offices. To evaluate the elements of the structure, process and result of medical attention one, proceeds to determine criteria, indicators and standards used in the evaluation that is done. 90 % of the criteria to be evaluated in the structure  were  adequated, not this way in the evaluation of the process and the results were predominated over the  evaluated criteria like not adapted coinciding with the final evaluation of the program. It is recommended to do supervisionsin  the clinical offices to check quality of life as well as to plan  new activities  for qualifying  the health personal.
