Abstract

A retrospective and descriptive study in the ENT service at the General Teaching Hospital Dr. Agostinho Neto Guantanamo is done from March 1982 to February 2012, with the aim of analyzing the results of reconstructive surgery of the frontal sinus using various biomaterials in a total of 58 patients with breast conditions. Fractures and osteomas were the most frequent. The surgical techniques were used: primary reconstruction and osteoplastic flap among the most bone, biomaterials were used: methyl methacrylate and hydroxyapatite, in the first was obtained the largest number of postoperative complications and poor cosmetic results.
