Abstract

A descriptive cross section study is done in the health Information system staff with the aim to value the social impact of the career of Management of the Information for Health in Baracoa during the  period 2006–2011. A historical analysis is done about the the teaching in towns, from its beginnings in 2006 up to the actuality. Up to the course 2010-2011 67 agents of the information have been graduated in health, having big social impact on raising the level of competition and performance of our professionals, improving the quality of the services, and the level of users's satisfaction.
