Historical stages of the training process in the specialty of General Intensive Stomatology in Guantanamo province

Abstract

A historical analysis of the formative process of the General Intensive Stomatology specialty in Guantanamo is made considering the relevance of this specialty in the stomatological care system in Cuba. The following indicators are taken into account: training model, form of admission to the training process, training scenario and stomatological care model. The article establishes the historical milestones that allowed delimiting three stages of the formative process in the specialty of General Integral Stomatology, the historical regularities of each stage and finally, the historical tendency that prevails in the process is presented.
