Abstract

Erythroderma or generalized exfoliative dermatitis is a dermatological pathology that comprises a very wide variety of etiologies and, therefore, of treatments, evolution and prognosis. This disease is little known by many doctors of different specialties. However, it is the general practitioners who are referred by patients. This review aims to update and review the general concepts of erythroderma and integral management so that the patient can obtain the accurate help of his doctor as soon as possible.
