Abstract

Through different studies, scientists have discovered that humans can live between 120 and 140 years, however it is not common for people to reach 100 years when most older adults exceed a certain number of years, have a series of ailments, deficiencies and limitations that greatly reduce enjoyment and quality of life. In the present work a compilation is made on determinants of the quality of life in the elderly: knowledge, practice of principles were conceived and established, which help to achieve quality of life, satisfactory longevity and other elements that are potential of this quality, such as :motivations, physical exercises, good nutrition and the appropriate environment.
