Abstract

The presence of supernumerary teeth can alter the normal occlusal development and participate in the establishment of a malocclusion. It is  reported a case of an 8-year-old boy who inherited a supplementary supernumerary tooth in the region of upper incisors that caused dental position abnormalities, affected esthetics and increased the risk of dental trauma. The modality of exodoncia, superior Hawley and a lingual arch the objectives were achieved to finally allow a good development of the stomatognathic apparatus.
