Morbidity of dermatological diseases in Bikenibeu East, East Timor

Abstract

A descriptive study was carried out in Bikenibeu Este, Timor Leste, in the period March-August 2010, in order to know the most frequent causes of dermatological diseases. The universe is made up of 364 patients, and the sample is 42. The selected patients were studied with exudates, antibiogram and other investigations to identify the germs that most frequently caused infection and the response to treatment. This allowed for the inference of the remaining patients and the behavior and better management of this problem.
