Prevention and control of digestive conditions associated with Helicobacter pylori infection

Abstract

Care and education should be an integral binomial in the care of patients with Helicobacter pylori infection. It is verified that in many patients that go to the consultations of digestive tube there is low level of knowledge regarding the causes of digestive diseases, routes of transmission, symptoms, consequences and measures of prevention of the infection. An educational program for the prevention and control of digestive conditions associated with Helicobacter pylori infection is conceived. With the application of the educational program in our area of work, the expectations of patients and authors are met, achieving a high level of knowledge regarding the subject that allows a positive influence in the control and prevention of the disease.
