Abstract

In the present article bioethics in Latin America, the historical evolution of this new approach to ethical thinking in the Latin American region, its main representatives, currents or tendencies that pose the analysis of the subject in Latin America from the real situation that the subcontinent presents and the need to find autochthonous solutions that give answers to these needs, also exposes the influence exercised by Anglo-Saxon bioethical-medical thinking in the region, based on the bioethics and medicine , Of the one elaborated by its founder Potter and that transcends the borders of the borders of the United States.
