Abstract

A case of an adult male patient is reported with no apparent pathological personal history, who was surgically announced for right inguinoscrotal herniorrhaphy, who suddenly presented signs and symptoms of anaphylactic reaction after the topical application of the gel used in the placement of the precordial electrodes for cardiovascular monitoring.
