Abstract

A case of a 17-year-old male patient who visits maxillofacial surgery, referring to inflammation on the right side of the face, asymptomatic is reported. A physical examination, hematologic, radiographic, soft-tissue ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy (BAFF) are performed, surgical treatment with clinical diagnosis of hemangioma (exploratory superficial parotidectomy and tumor excision with preservation of the facial nerve) Macroscopically, there is a cavernous and dark brown tumor that summarizes blood, whose histological report confirms the diagnosis of cavernous hemangioma
