Educative actions to promote oral health and prevent oral diseases on women

Abstract

Research is conducted from September 2008 until June 2009, to incorporate the federate women at the popular council Guantánamo, Center to promote oral health and oral disease prevention. Initial diagnosis is done using a survey of 50 federate women that are formal and informal leaders of block 146 of the council, and belonging to the health area at the Polyclinic "Omar Ranedo Pubillones"to characterize the level of knowledge about oral health. On this base , it provides a system of educational activities never prepared for this mass organization that are based on pedagogy and participation.
