Abstract

A literature review on ethics and professional information in the Provincial Information Center of Medical Sciences of Guantanamo, with the aim of reflecting is made as to the role of information professionals, librarian, facing ethics as part important in managing communication, new information technologies (IT) and the transmission of culture as we demand our society. Professionals of libraries and information centers have a mission and objectives with strong social and related at all times with a set of values. We believe that the issue should be treated more frequently considering that information professionals are responsible for managing information and communicate it very professionally.
