Knowledge in adolescents of factors that influence in the expression of the sexuality

Abstract

An intervention-action study was conducted with the objective of exploring the level of knowledge of adolescents belonging to Emilio Daudinot University Polyclinic in the period from December 2015 to December 2016, on the factors that influence the expression of sexuality. The universe consisted of 60 adolescents. Theoretical and empirical methods were used. The following variables were used: age group and sex, level of knowledge, personal, family and social factors. The number of women between 15-19 years, before the intervention the majority was unaware of the factors of expression of sexuality. Affection and expressiveness proved to be the most frequent family factor. The social communication was the factor that more committed in the social. Subsequent to the intervention, the level of knowledge of adolescents increased in the factors that influence the expression of sexuality.
