Abstract

An educational intervention is done with the aim of modifying knowledge of intestinal parasitism to a group of parents of school the "Aguedo Morales Reina" community ofPalmaClaraElementary School, part of the Policlinic "Hermanos Martínez Tamayo”Baracoa, from January to June 2014. It was applied a survey with different variables before and after the intervention. The sample consisted of 40 parents. The main studied group was aged 20-29 years and female. Satisfactory results are achieved after the educational intervention.
