Use of antimicrobial therapy. Some considerations

Abstract

The issue of care of infectious diseases is discussed in terms of the use of antimicrobial therapy after the incorporation of the different contexts of action of healthcare, with the theoretical product making references related to the topic, considering satellite critical literature review and experience of the authors of this scientific paper. It delves into issues related to antibiotic policy, its definition and classification, mode of action, the basis for clinical use, precaution for use. Final considerations are issued. An updated literature review is attached.
