Using imaging terms: a challenge in medical communication

Abstract

A literature review of the terminology of the specialty imaging with the objective of promoting the attending physician in the community proper communication with the specialist and population is made; doctors offer aspects to be considered in the interpretation of a contrasted radiological report, ultrasonographic examination, a CT scan and MRI.
