Third molars. Update

Abstract

A literature review was performed with the purpose of updating of impacted third molars. Is important go deeper into the origin and development of tooth germ, radiographic classification according to different authors, a clinical-epidemiological evaluation of the health problems associated with third molars, as well as the associated problems that are urgent, besides prevention aspects that  are addressed. Its implementation is a major source of information for resident’s preparation in General Integral Stomatology.
