Alzheimer's disease, some modifiable risk factors

A review was performed to update available evidence on modifiable risk factors associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD). In the last decades, epidemiological studies revealed several risk factors for the development of this entity, appearing the factors related to the lifestyle. Population strategies for modifying these factors could prevent some cases of Alzheimer's. The study consisted of a search in specialized journal in the subject, was reviewed works in Spanish and English language and included investigations of diverse design of prestigious authors in the subject.
