The thought of Fidel Castro Ruz about public health in the training of students of Medical Sciences

Abstract

The thought and action of Fidel Castro Ruz were instrumental in the great changes that occurred in the National Health System after the triumph of the Revolution. However, despite the efforts made, even all the potential offered their ideas for comprehensive training of students of Medical Sciences are not used. This article allowed to address some reflections of Fidel Castro about public health, highlighting aspects that, in consideration of the authors, are important in this training, in accordance with the requirements of current changes and that our National health, free and internationalist, continue working to achieve service excellence. To
carry out this work were consulted several bibliographies, especially some speeches of Fidel which addresses the issue.
